The Livingston Parish Veterans Association (LPVA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to
promoting, assisting, serving, and honoring the men and women of the United States Armed Forces who have risked and given all to our country.

The LPVA seeks to honor the veterans of Livingston Parish and the surrounding communities by:

  • sponsoring public events such as the annual Livingston Parish Veterans Parade

  •  funding and promoting memorials

  • assisting disabled or underprivileged veterans and/or their families in times of need

  • working with schools to inform students of the history and heritage of this country

  • seeking funding from donations, grants, fundraisers, bingo games, and all other possible avenues of revenue to recognize and honor the great services and sacrifices freely given by our military veterans.

This association is open to anyone aged 18 or older, male or female, veteran or non-veteran, who wishes to participate and honor our veterans.  There is no membership fee to belong to the Livingston Parish Veterans Association.

The Livingston Parish Veterans Association (LPVA) meets on the first and third Thursday of each month 7:00 p.m. at the Walker Municipal Building (Town Hall) at 10136 Florida Boulevard, Walker, LA 70785.
